What to expect at your first appointment:
Your first orthodontic appointment is exciting and begins your orthodontic journey to straight teeth bliss. From the moment you first call our office, we want to do everything we can to make you comfortable with your decision to improve your smile. You can choose to fill out your new patient paperwork in our office before your appointment begins, or if you prefer you can fill out the forms below and bring them with you to our office, email them to our secure email, or fax them to us.
Your first appointment should last roughly an hour. At first, during this appointment will be concerned with gathering information. Our records specialist will capture photos of your teeth and smile as well as a scan of your teeth to allow us to see how the teeth fit within the jaws. You will then meet with Dr. Bret to review the photos, the position of your teeth and your current occlusion (bite) to customize your treatment options. We will then work with you and your goals to determine your best treatment plan.
We can often accommodate braces or Invisalign treatment to begin the same day as your consult, if you desire. We ask that at the time of the consult just to let us know that you may be interested in beginning your treatment on the same day as your consult so that we can accommodate you.
NEW PATIENT FORMS
There are a few forms, such as the health history form, that we need your help in completing before your initial consultation can begin. You may always arrive at the office 15 minutes prior to your appointment time to complete the paperwork or you may complete the attached forms and bring them with you to the office, email them to us though our secure email, or fax them to us.
